Bio
Shannon Reynolds is a full-time painter and portraitist. Her paintings have been exhibited in public galleries and are in private and corporate collections across North America and the UK. Her work has been chosen for the prestigious Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition in London, UK, and the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation Annual Art Exhibition, where one of her paintings was the 2021 Urban Wildlife category winner. Shannon’s portraits have been commissioned privately and for the corporate boardroom as well as for exhibitions of contemporary portraiture, notably the series face|LIFT at the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery. In her one and only brush with reality television, she was a winning participant in the Canadian production of the portrait painting TV show, Star Portraits. Born in Toronto to artist/illustrator parents, Shannon is a graduate of the University of Waterloo's Fine Arts program and also has a Master's degree in English literature. Today Shannon lives in downtown Kitchener where she works from her third-floor studio in a Victorian house she’s slowly renovating with her husband.
